Onboarding Checklist
Complete these steps before going live. Each links directly to the relevant dashboard section. Mark off as you go — progress is saved locally.
Setup
Configure clinic branding
Add your clinic name, logo, and brand colors so the owner portal reflects your practice.
Open Branding →Build at least one triage protocol
Create species/age-specific symptom trees. Start with canine adult as your first protocol.
Open Protocol Builder →Add your DVM roster
Enter each on-call physician — name, contact, and schedule — so escalations route correctly.
Open Roster →Set this week's on-call schedule
Assign DVMs to on-call shifts. The pager uses this to know who to alert when urgency is met.
Open On-Call →Configure ER partner clinics
List nearby emergency referral partners. Owners see their name, address, and maps link on red-flag results.
Open ER Partners →Compliance
Review and activate consent settings
Enable owner consent capture at triage start. Required for TCPA compliance and defensible audit records.
Open Legal & Consent →Complete the launch checklist
Run through the built-in checklist to confirm CSP headers, RLS, retention policy, and A2P are configured.
Open Compliance Hub →Validation
Run a test triage as a pet owner
Open your clinic's public triage portal and walk through the full flow to verify everything looks correct.
Open Owner Portal →Test the pager dashboard
Confirm the pager shows open escalations and that you can acknowledge one. This is what DVMs see on-call.
Open Pager →Verify your first audit log entry
After running a test triage, confirm the interaction appears in the audit log with timestamp, consent, and urgency.
